Final Major Project - project proposal One

Final Major Project ...

To put together a end of year project  and to create something rather captivating, the End of year project is all about exploring with in the studio but the main part of this project, is exploring portraiture ... following my essay on Dyslexia to creativity, I am putting together a series of images that show expression or how Dyslexia does not effect our work but allows us to visual differently and create our own style of photography.

Project idea One ....

My first project idea, I am looking at exploring Dyslexia through still life and self portrait. This will allow me to see how certain things can be an influence to how people with Dyslexia visualise or how an object might have caused some inspiration. This is done by asking other people who might be willing to share their own story.

The style of photography will be exploring within high and low key photography along with exploring colour. this will see which technique will give a strong connection to the model and the subject. The equipment I have chosen to use for this project would be experimenting with the studio and therefore be done in digital, this mainly because it allows me to be in control of the lighting and be able to keep check of my images to make the relevant adjustments the might be needed.

Limitions for the project will be,
will i have enough time to put a body of images together
finding people with the learning difficulty who want to share their own story, to have a voice.
using the correct methods in equipment.

costing for this will be more towards mounts/frames and printing.

Goals for this project is to help others understand themselves and how far Dyslexia can go, to help those who struggle accepting it, to accept it as if they were accepting a friend, I am hoping to achieve, to make it more acceptable and show those who do not understand Dyslexia and how it can effect a life but not limit how the individual lives. for me this project will touch personal stories and make it more well-known learning difficulty that is not so different.
